Born and bred Philly girl. Traveled the world, but always knew Philly was my home. In fact, we recently renovated and moved our family into my childhood home in Graduate Hospital, and intend on staying in this house until one of our kids kicks us out to raise their family in it.

One of my favorite things has always been to look through my mom’s old photo albums. They give me such a feeling of connection with my family. It’s also a good reminder that moms (& dads) should be in the picture. As cute as I was as a kid, what I really want to see is my folks when they were new parents!

You know when you ask little kids what they want to be when they grow up, and you usually get answers like “firefighter”, “astronaut”, or “Elmo”? Well, I had a different answer for each day of the week; for the record I wanted to be a teacher, a writer, an artist, a dancer, and a singer. Not much has changed since I was a kid! When I’m not working with a camera in hand, I’m running around with my own amazing kids, and my awesome hubby if he’s lucky. And when I’m not with them, I’m teaching prenatal yoga at Mama’s Wellness Joint. And when I’m not doing any of those things… I’m maybe sleeping, but you can imagine that doesn’t happen often. I consider myself incredibly lucky to be able to be so many things every day. No two days look the same for me, and while I’ve never known tired like this I’ve also never been happier.

I found my love for photography studying film in Italy. Found my love for portraiture when a friend admitted that my maternity photos of her finally made her feel good about her changing body. Working with kids and their families is truly my happy place. So much so that I was still running after toddlers, camera in hand, during both of my pregnancies up to the week before I went into labor!

Now that you know a little about me, please be in touch to tell me about you, your family, and how I can help to tell your story through beautiful images.
