We'll try for just one more they said, Lifestyle Newborn Photographer Philadelphia PA
Erica and Sam are some of our oldest friends. Those friends that you know from way back when none of you could imagine being parents yet... and suddenly here you are standing in their kitchen and you're all holding kids! And you know that story I tell all the time, about my first time taking maternity photos that completely inspired me to seriously become a family photographer? That was Erica. I've had the pleasure of photographing her through two pregnancies, helped her welcome her first two gorgeous babies, who are 5 and 2 now already! When she told me she was pregnant for a third time, I was so excited for them. And when she found out it was twins... Well I was shocked! And excited! And shocked some more. And could only imagine how they felt! But I knew nothing was going to stop me from making the trip to meet these babies once they had arrived and help our friends celebrate their family growing from four to six.One of the things I love about photographing babies is how clearly you can sense a personality already coming into focus. Even with twins, after you spend some time with them, it becomes so easy to tell which is which. Matthew is a bit more chill, totally content to snuggle with mom.Sarah is the youngest and smallest of the twins, and so the baby of all four siblings. And she's the sassy one, so I'm not too worried about her being able to hold her own. She was wide awake and made her opinions very clearly known. And look at how her eyes are locked on mom, so serious and focused. We actually had some time to hang out together while big brother and sister were at school, so mom and dad each got to cuddle with one of the babies. Is there anything sweeter than these two babies curled up on daddy's chest? I mean, aside from them holding hands while curled up on daddy's chest. In classic twin fashion, these two were perfectly in sync... in that one of them was awake while the other was asleep and vice versa. One would cry as soon as the other had drifted off. Almost as if they'd had nine months to work out the schedule. So after Sarah had her say then it was Matthew's turn to get some attention. And look at those piercing blue eyes of his.She snoozed on, undeterred by his antics, and even grabbed onto his arm at one point as if to say "ok, brother, that's enough".Matthew eventually made it clear what he was looking for, though he wasn't too successful trying to get it from his sister's nose.I imagine how these two know each other so well already, are so comfortable with the feeling of the other sleeping nearby, are so together in how they experience life from the very beginning.I imagine them looking at these photographs when they're older and hope that it stirs in them those memories of closeness. Or that it gets them to stop fighting or annoying each other for a second and reminds them of the bond they share. Because let's be real, even twins become teenagers one day ;)I just kept looking at my friend, with her arms full of babies...She told me that this is how they fall asleep most nights. Pure heaven.I know it won't always be easy, or cute, but I know that if anyone can handle it, you can my friend. Your four beautiful children are the proof.
