Bringing home baby sister, Newborn Family Photographer Philadelphia PA

With only a few days to spare, this family squeaked in as my last photo session of the year. And so on a cold December morning I got travel across Philly to meet Mira and her brand new baby sister, Liv. This house was so full of warmth and love, and Mira was so full of energy, the time flew by and we had such a hard time picking our favorite images from such a great session.There's something special about sisters, and there's something even more special about a little girls and their mom. The connection between this mama and her daughters is so warm and sweet.Mira clearly does not lack in personality, and she clearly loves her mom so much.We stopped to read a few of big sister's favorite books with lots of time for snuggles on that super comfy rug.Learning to be gentle can be a tough skill for newly big siblings. Luckily Baby Pizza (yes, she picked the name out herself) was on hand for big sister to practice on.I love how strongly you can get a sense for personality in kids, even so young. Take a look at these two sisters and tell me you can't imagine them making these exact faces at each other when they're older. I can't wait to see if it holds true as Liv gets older, but I think she's going to be the quiet counterpart to her sister's wild energy.Then, on to baby sister's room. Mom made the art over the changing table her self! And look how tiny Liv is in her daddy's arms...Mom and dad snuck in a sweet little moment for themselves <3Little stocking feet, up on tip toes...Mom and her girls, so beautiful and tender.This little girl definitely stole the show. Wouldn't you just love to know what she's thinking... Well, I'm sure she'd love to tell you if you have an hour ;)Nothing quite like a good cuddle on the couch to end our morning together, with lots of tickles and kisses for deliciously chubby cheeks.I especially love the toddler having her moment off to the side totally unaware of her exhausted parents having theirs.And in between the craziness of having a toddler and a newborn, there are these heartwarming moments that make it all feel worth it.And, back to the crazy toddler!No better way to ring in the new year than getting to meet this lovely family. I can't wait to see these girls grow into wonderful, crazy, loving sisters <3
